Consumer Confidence
Business Ethics

Premised on sustaining responsible business practices in a transparent and accountable manner and strict adherence to the Kimberley Process warranty system, Lili Diamonds is committed to promoting consumer confidence, environmental causes, and social responsibility issues so that jewelry manufacturers, dealers, and retailers (who buy diamonds from us) will be able to be confident in their purchases from us, and will be able to convey these assurances to their own customers.

  • We may not publicize this, directly, but we do have all the documentation that you will need about the source of our rough diamonds, etc. whenever you ask for it.
  • We certify to our customers in writing that all of our jewelry designs set with diamonds (mined on or after January 1, 2003) are conflict-free; and we incorporate this certification onto each invoice that we send to our customers.
  • This warranty vouches for the legitimacy of all of the diamonds that we cut and polish.
  • We require the same type of documentation from our primary supplier of rough (and secondary dealers of rough diamonds) with reference to the source of the rough diamonds that they sell to us.

Social Responsibility

We have taken comprehensive steps to offer for sale only those diamonds that are conflict-free, and, subsequently, convey this message downstream to our clients..

This basically revolves around a chain-of-custody-from-rough-to-polished-to jewelry-warranty for loose diamonds.

"We find that our customers are very supportive of what we are doing and we are continuously making an assessment about our customers’ needs; and then trying to do what is best for them."

Consumer Confidence

Lili Diamonds is committed to the continuous global effort to impede and stop the trade in conflict diamonds; and, therefore, in cooperation with the World Diamond Council and the Israel Diamond Exchange, Lili Diamonds participates in a voluntary program of self-regulation including compliance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS).

We are committed to making this new system work with a chain of warranties that guarantee that the diamonds (that we cut and polish) and the diamond set jewelry (that we design) meet all the required standards.

  • Our sales representatives are knowledgeable about the subject so that you can have complete confidence that the diamonds and diamond jewelry sold from our offices and through the Internet are "conflict free."

  • Following the awareness of the customers concerning the issue of conflict diamonds, you can learn more how the diamond industry is solving it around the world, especially in Africa, by visiting http://www.diamondfacts.org

Certification

What our company has is both a third-party certificate program in the name of the Kimberley Process and our written assurance on the invoice that we issue with our export shipments.

The following statement appears on every invoice submitted to our clients:

"The diamonds herein invoiced have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations Resolutions. The undersigned hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds."

When you work with Lili Diamonds you can expect much more than just diamonds.
